T-Soft is a comprehensive, Türkiye-based e-commerce platform that powers online stores for brands of different sizes. Shopify is a global platform used by brands in many countries around the world. Both can carry serious sales volumes; the real question is which one fits your sales model, your target markets and the way your team works.
As an official Shopify Partner, Booster Wizard builds Shopify stores from scratch and runs migration projects from Turkish platforms to Shopify. In this article we compare the two platforms criterion by criterion and explain why we recommend Shopify to Türkiye-focused brands too. We checked every point about T-Soft on T-Soft's own website and documentation. We do not quote prices, because on both sides fees depend on the package.
The Short Answer
Even if most, or all, of your sales are in Türkiye, our recommendation is Shopify. It is true that T-Soft offers local payment, shipping, e-invoicing and marketplace processes ready under one roof; on Shopify, we at Booster Wizard cover these needs with ready-made apps and, where no ready-made app exists, with custom apps we develop for you. On top of that, Shopify stands out with its speed and performance infrastructure, design freedom, broad app ecosystem and a set-up that is ready the day you go abroad.
Türkiye-Specific Infrastructure: Payments, Shipping and E-Invoicing
T-Soft has a natural advantage here. It offers integration with virtual POS, bank transfer and alternative payment systems, and names payment providers such as iyzico, PayTR, iPara, Sipay, PayPal and EsnekPos. On the shipping side, alongside integrations with carriers, its ecosystem includes shipping agreements through T-Soft Kargo and carrier integrations through Cargong. For e-invoicing and e-archiving there is a solution that works with an integrator, and invoices for orders on your own site can be created directly from the admin panel.
The picture on Shopify is different. Shopify's own payment solution, Shopify Payments, is not available to Türkiye-based stores. Local payment providers such as iyzico and PayTR are therefore connected to the store through apps or custom integrations, and needs such as instalments and 3D Secure have to be planned from the start. Shipping carriers and e-invoicing solutions are set up the same way. We take on this planning and set-up: we choose and configure the right app, and where there is no ready-made app, we develop a custom app for your brand with the Shopify Admin API and webhooks.

Marketplace Integrations
T-Soft states that its platform can work in integration with stores on marketplaces such as Trendyol, Hepsiburada, Amazon and n11. ConnectProf is offered for marketplace and ERP integrations, and T-Soft Dashboard for managing several panels from a single screen. For brands that earn a large share of their revenue on marketplaces, this set-up makes day-to-day operations noticeably easier.
Shopify has no built-in connection to Turkish marketplaces. The Shopify App Store has third-party apps that sync products, stock and orders with these marketplaces. We settle at the start of the project which tool to use and which direction the data flows in, and if no suitable app exists, we develop a custom integration that manages stock from a single source.
Selling Abroad
T-Soft's e-export features include multiple languages, showing prices in the currency the customer selects, country-based pricing, stock and product visibility, language and currency redirection based on IP address, country-based payment methods, international shipping and country-based customs settings. So you can sell abroad with T-Soft as well; it offers a comprehensive set-up, particularly for an export model run from Türkiye.
Shopify's strength here comes from Shopify Markets: you can sell to different countries from one store, in the local language, with a domain or subfolder structure and market-specific price adjustments. Let us be clear on one point: for customers to pay in their own currency you need Shopify Payments or Adyen. For Türkiye-based stores, orders are processed in the default currency, TL, while market-specific price adjustments keep working. Shopify's real difference is the breadth of its international theme, app and partner ecosystem.

Design and Theme Flexibility
T-Soft offers a free theme library, a theme marketplace with ready-made and customisable designs, and a Store Front module for page design. Its developer documentation explains that custom storefronts can be built with a template language and component-based sections. Packages for mid-sized businesses also include a custom interface design and coding service.
On Shopify, Online Store 2.0 themes are managed as sections and blocks in the theme editor, and metafields let you add extra information to products and pages. Besides ready-made themes, you can develop a fully custom theme for your brand, and there is a large international community of developers building them. For brands that want to build campaign pages quickly with their own team and refresh their design often, this flexibility is a significant plus.
App Ecosystem and Customisation
Alongside its own app marketplace, T-Soft Apps, T-Soft has modules such as subscriptions, a loyalty system, affiliate sales, product bundles and a B2B dealer system. T-Soft's web services can be used to connect store data to external apps and systems, and packages for large operations highlight web service integration and custom application development.
The Shopify App Store has thousands of apps for areas such as marketing, subscriptions, loyalty, shipping and reporting, and custom apps for your brand can be built with the Admin API. Solving a process that has no ready-made solution with a custom app is a common approach on Shopify. The breadth of the ecosystem is a big advantage, but you need to budget for the fact that each app may be a separate subscription.
Where customisation runs matters too. T-Soft's theme engine renders Twig templates server-side to produce HTML, while theme-specific behaviour is added with JavaScript files that run in the browser, and third-party code is added through the panel's tracking codes section. Its developer documentation does not describe a way to run your own server-side code inside the platform, so storefront additions beyond the templates mostly stay in the browser, and every script added makes the page heavier.
On Shopify, custom logic can run server-side: Shopify Functions run discount, delivery, payment method and cart validation rules on infrastructure hosted by Shopify, and custom apps run on their own servers and connect to the store through the Admin API and webhooks. As a result, integrations do not need to load extra scripts in the shopper's browser.
Technical Infrastructure and Scaling
Both platforms take care of hosting themselves. T-Soft states that it does not sell its servers and infrastructure to customers but only rents them, so the software cannot be installed on a customer's own server. It offers private cloud server solutions for mid-sized businesses and cluster-architecture server solutions for large operations, and a free SSL certificate is part of the service.
On Shopify, hosting, SSL, security and platform updates are managed by Shopify, and the sitemap and robots.txt are generated automatically. You do not need to plan servers separately for traffic spikes during campaigns. For high-volume brands, the Shopify Plus level provides extra capabilities, such as a much higher redirect capacity.
Support and Language
T-Soft's Turkish-language resources and local team are a real convenience for brands in Türkiye. It offers 24/7 technical support, support by phone and ticket, a training calendar and a help centre, and its advanced support service assigns a dedicated support specialist to your business.
Shopify's admin can be used in Turkish and there is a comprehensive help centre. Even so, for support that is in Turkish, specific to the project and familiar with local processes, brands usually work with a Shopify Partner. That is how we support the stores we build and migrate after launch.
Cost Structure
Let us compare the structure without quoting figures. T-Soft has separate packages for beginners, mid-sized businesses and large operations, and some services, such as e-invoicing, are charged separately per invoice. On Shopify, the total budget is made up of the plan fee, app subscriptions, the payment provider's commission, the transaction fee Shopify charges on orders processed through third-party payment providers, and theme or development costs. We recommend comparing total cost over a year rather than the monthly fee.

Why Shopify for Türkiye-Focused Brands Too?
Even if all of your sales are in Türkiye, these are the main reasons we recommend Shopify:
- Speed and performance: Shopify serves stores through a global content delivery network (CDN) backed by Cloudflare.
- Reliability on campaign days: Shopify handles global peaks such as Black Friday on the same infrastructure.
- Design freedom: you can build a fully custom theme for your brand and manage campaign pages with your own team.
- A broad app ecosystem: there are thousands of ready-made apps for needs such as marketing, loyalty and subscriptions.
- Integration with any set-up: we connect local payments, shipping, e-invoicing, marketplaces and ERP systems with ready-made apps or custom apps we develop.
- No second migration: when you go abroad, Shopify Markets is ready in the same store.
Migration
If you decide to move from T-Soft to Shopify, how the data is moved becomes decisive. T-Soft offers web services for connecting store data to external systems. When migrating from platforms such as T-Soft and IdeaSoft, rather than exporting files from the admin, we read the data through the source platform's API and write it to the new store with the Shopify Admin API: products and variants, customers, past orders and URL redirects. Because customer passwords cannot be migrated from any platform, we send account activation invites after launch.
Because Shopify's URL structure is fixed, almost all of your old URLs will change and each one needs a 301 redirect. For the checklist: How to protect your SEO when moving to Shopify

Conclusion
T-Soft is a strong platform with ready-made local integrations and Turkish-language support. Even so, when we weigh your target markets, your team and the total cost together, our recommendation is Shopify: fast and scalable infrastructure, design freedom, a broad ecosystem and a set-up that is ready for selling abroad. We set up the Türkiye-specific connections with ready-made apps or apps we develop specifically for you, making your store complete for your customers in Türkiye.
